Too round to be a rabbit, too narrow to be a badger. Maybe some sort of rat? Do you think it’s being used as a den? Any other evidence, such as hair or droppings?
That was me sorry,I thought you wouldn’t mind
JEFFERY?! IS IT TRUE?!
man made
Is this is a secluded or rarely used bit of the garden? You’ve got a Badger. Do you know how recent ? Cubs would have left a few now. Be careful of it. They won’t attack unless they feel threatened. I don’t think there is an agency that will get rid of them in NI. You could get a badger baiter – but don’t be a dick.
Its Sunak his sky box broke again
Get yourself a wildlife camera that could be interesting to watch if something still living there or visiting. Could also put sand down in front of the hole see what footprints appear. Someone will recognise the animal footprints.
Probably a bear
I had something like that in my garden & my neighbour reckoned it was a badger.
Not an elephant IMO. Something smaller probably. (I’m not a zooologist)

any wee pieces o gold found around the orifice?
If it’s digging tunnels it’s probably a Hamaster.
