I have seen a couple of posts here saying how great the Scottish fans are. And they are absolutely correct. Living here in Köln, every single Scottish fan I have interacted with have been respectful, funny, and just a blast to be around.
Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the March and shoot some pictures and videos of the event. The atmosphere was phenomenal – you lot represent EXACTLY what this sport is about. I even met a very nice fan who let me spend some time with his group before losing them to the crowd (shoutout to you Scott where ever you are!). The happiness was genuine and I will not forget something one fan told me: “thank you for being such great hosts. Köln is such a great city and I’m glad that all of these Scottish fans were able to experience the city.” As someone who is not from here originally (originally from the US) it really warms my heart to see how everyone else I falling in love with the city that I fell in love with.
