Why?
I’m sorry, what? 😳
Who buys strawberries in winter?
It’s februari. Strawberries are way out of season. You shouldn’t *want* to have strawberries this time of year.
Tf?
WTF? Hungary is not an agricultural powerhouse, but this is way too expensive
Wow and I thought 3 euros was expensive for 500 grams of Strawberries from where I’m from (Portugal).
Those are rookie numbers I’m used to paying 60€ per gram
Who the fuck would buy pesticide riddled strawberries for 40€????????
For anyone wondering, it costs 20 times less in summer in neighboring Austria
They are ugely out of season
>I call that getting swindled and pimped (Shit) / I call that getting tricked by a business
I could have a kg of strawberries delivered to my home for 47.96 RON (9.7 euro) today.
LE: I checked and there are slightly cheaper alternatives but the one I initially saw has the added benefit of coming in single use plastic packaging (4 x 250g) that you can keep forever. And they’re from Greece.
Ah, Hungery, the land of hunger.
13000 feet is one hell of a long strawberry
