The one time Trump thought Gallup was doing a good job was when his approval numbers briefly cracked 50% in early 2020.

My question is that despite the fact that he lost in 2020 and the Biden voters are strongly anti-Trump more so than pro Biden, how has Trump expanded on his voter base?

In a healthy society this wouldn’t even be close. We are not a healthy society, but I will take some comfort if Biden can actually win this election. Until then I do not trust any poll.
