  4. Personally, my bet is on the Samsung/Hyundai/LG/Daewoo/Sk Hynix Korea backed by Uncle Sam and not the Putin backed one where malnourished peasants cobble together artillery shells that only sometimes work.

  7. South Korean arms are no joke. They’re quickly becoming a global power in weapons exports. If Ukraine is allowed access to that market, it would be a huge pipeline for weapons, parts & (most importantly) ammunition.

  9. Why does Putin not get it yet. He keeps the war going and many, many countries are against, and few will fight with him. He is in the wrong and he should accept it.

  10. It’s about time. Soon South Korea will wake up with NK having access to much more potent missiles or nuclear technology, so the sooner Russia fail, the less powerful NK will get. Sadly, it took 2.5 years for them to realize that.

  15. South Korea has SLBMs and is a rolling 6 months away from developing its own nuclear warheads. Which quite possibly means they already have them. Not sure Putin wants to crack that door open.

  16. I’m actually genuinely curious if he thinks the South Koreans who have prepped their military for war for decades with the backing of U.S. forces are really going to buckle, even funnier that he thinks he has the military resource and personal to break off from Ukraine to send there.

  18. North Korea and Russia just signed another deal I bet to provide substand ammo and arms to the Russian meat grinder. Heck I wouldn’t be surpised if North Korean “volunteers” started showing up in Ukraine. Russia will pay North Korea in technology and hard currency for these volunteers.

    North Korea has been sending Russia stuff for months now, which means it is being fired at Ukraine, instead of ever being fired at South Korea. South Korea is directly benefitting from this situation.
    From what I read, looks like arty shells would be the big thing Ukraine benefits from.

  23. Since the Soviet Union collapsed, South Korea has been working hard to keep Russia and North Korea apart.

    They’ve been using the law that bans supplying lethal weapons to active war zones as their reasoning, but Russia pressed the red button anyway. There’s no turning back now. This time, it’s no joke.
