The number of Russian army attacks on the front remains very high, with the main directions of assault unchanged.
– In the direction of Kharkiv, Russian army attacks continue near Vovchansk and Lyptsi. There is conflicting information about the situation in the area. It can be assumed that currently, Russian units are trying to repel a Ukrainian counterattack, but official Ukrainian sources are silent about their forces’ active operations.
– In the Svatove and Severodonetsk areas, the Russian army continues to exert intense pressure towards the cities of Kupiansk and Lymanske. Activity of the Russian army in the direction of Siversk has consistently increased in recent days. Overall, there have been no significant changes in the deployment of forces throughout the area.
– In the Bahmut area, the activity of Russian army attacks sharply increased yesterday. Attacks occurred throughout this section of the front, and it is not yet clear whether Ukrainian forces have managed to hold their positions. Additionally, Russian units have been activated south towards the settlement of Toretsk, where they unexpectedly improved their positions two days ago. The attacks continued yesterday, but the Russian units have not managed to advance further.

How long have these nightly reports had Russia’s losses averaging 1000+ casualties? It feels like it’s been months, where the rarity is it dipping below 1000 for a single day to jump right back up again the next day.
Those kinds of losses would mean over 350,000 casualties per year.
