There is a rule among soldiers in Ukraine, do you want to live? So dig. Without a huge network of bunkers, shelters and trenches it would be literally impossible to survive so much artillery, drones and aviation, shelters won't save you from direct hits from 240mm mortars, but they will save you from shrapnel, and shock waves from close impacts. Many Ukrainians owe their lives to shovels and excavators

  2. I have no idea how long does it take to make a shelter like that, to fit 4 guys, with entrance like one in video. Also some trunks overhead.
    I bet a 3-4 days if you’re not engaged with artillery and what not.
    How do you even dig with war so close?
