In a very positive development for travelers with bikes, the reservation system has been integrated into the SBB app (previously a separate user-unfriendly website).

That said, I wonder if anyone has experience with this yet? When I search for what should be very high-demand routes, it only shows the option to purchase ticket and does not indicate sold out. I wonder if it will indicate sold out only after attempting purchase (but don’t want to waste money testing in case it does work).

Nevertheless, very happy with this progress.
