‘The wife of a captured Russian admires how he recovered after seeing him on a video call. Meanwhile, our boys lose 40-50 kg of weight during their captivity in Russia, which can be seen in our photo below. Ukraine adheres to the Geneva Conventions, meanwhile, Russia continues to abuse prisoners’

  1. It’s Bad Guy privilege.

They get to do whatever they want to whomever they feel like doing it to, while knowing the Good Guys won’t do bad things to them.

It’s like the Bad Guy equivalent of a ‘Get Out of Jail Free’ card.

And of course they mock us for this, calling us soft and weak and “pussies”… but nobody snivels and weeps like a little bitch as much as a Bad Guy when another Bad Guy does bad things to him.

  2. The video starts with the wife saying “[You] gained weight.”

  3. POW treatment is one of the most mind-numbingly infuriating disparities in the war. I’m proud to support Ukrainians that make the difficult choice every day to stay human in face of the terrorist nation doing their best to make them stoop down to their level

  4. They should have before and after pictures of the Ukrainian soldiers in the background of these calls so the wives can see how much better the Ukrainians treat their POWs

  5. I don’t get this. Pasta and Rice is cheap and there is no food shortage in Russia. They could even allow Switzerland or India to deliverer care packages as a 3rd party under the Geneva convention.

What do they gain by telling the world they are starving there POWs? Even if they are sadistic it’s wildly impractical. Every guard is facing a Indictment by the international criminal court.

  6. «Поправился!» he’s gained weight because he is being fed so well in the great nation of Ukraine. He’s not going to want to return to the balota now.

  7. I saw some Russians rather play dead and be killed than surrender the other day. What were they thinking? How can brainwashing be effective to the point of making people choose death over captivity?
