Hi Reddit, I’ve had no requests for help all week, and I’ve even relaxed a bit. But yesterday I received an urgent request for a lung ventilator and I can’t do it without your help, because it is expensive. I ask for your support in raising $2250. More details in the comments. video is NSFW.

  1. I can’t pull out the request for a lung ventilator on my own, because it is urgent. So I need your help. The stabilisation unit that needs this device is located somewhere near Vovchansk (we have already sent them medicines). They stabilise seriously wounded people who are brought to them from the front line and then send them to inpatient hospitals. They have a stationary lung ventilator, but they also need a portable one to transport seriously wounded people who cannot breathe on their own, or if two wounded people need lung ventilation at the same time. We asked for such a device from a larger foundation that cooperates with various medical organisations. They promised to send it to Vovchansk for free from Chicago a month ago. But the parcel was not sent on time, and then got lost somewhere in Poland. Now the parcel has been found, but the time of its delivery to Ukraine has not yet been determined. At the same time, the doctors who requested the device say that the number of wounded has increased dramatically. Although they do not insist on purchasing this device (it is very expensive), but both we and they understand that every day without it costs someone’s life. So, I found a second-hand device with a six-month warranty. it costs $5250. I am hoping that with the support of the Reddit community I will raise $2250. If you can help as my PayPal is ktc.if1986@gmail.com

So, it turned out that I used the device I was going to buy for the title of today’s post. Luckily, one of the contributors is very knowledgeable about medical equipment and pointed out to me that the device shown in the photo is not suitable for transport. It turned out to be a very correct and timely remark. I urgently called the doctors for whom this equipment was intended, changed the order at the company and, fortunately, thanks to the remark of one of the Redditors, we have an invoice for the correct device. The price was reduced by $250 and we have already raised $1308. Only $692 is left to reach the goal:)

  2. Sending money now. To the others I believe CF_Siveryany has proved her trustworthiness many times.

  3. DM me, please. We can’t do the full $2250, but we’ll help you make up the difference.
