  1. Russia, a poor country, half way around the world, thinks by going to Cuba they're going to scare the US!? Our military is already in place for any problem, we even have a naval base on the island with the most advanced military technology, as well as all our naval bases in Florida. lol. we're not afraid at all of your cute little boats.

  2. The Russians have used their frigates as a “Jack-of-all-trades-but-master-of none!” The frigates are the smallest ocean crossing warship. It will be a very small Russian military exercise with only one Russian frigate against one Russian submarine; the Cubans can throw in their small obsolete fleet in the exercise.

  3. Cuba should be on better terms with Russia..Russia isn't about taking control of your Resources…Resources Thats America and France ! Look at Africa

  4. Brazil, Venezuela and Cuba would make good operating bases for an AIP deal with Russian navy Project 677 subs. Ideal for protecting sea lanes against U.S. pirates.

  5. 🤓🤓🇨🇺la Russie 🇷🇺 a besoin de Cuba 🇨🇺 pour les protéger des drones ukrainiens et souffler un peu 😊😊😊

  6. I am unemployed political scientist.

    1. I think it is a cool thing:
    – there are only five submarines of 885 class;
    – Cuban people can see a nuclear-powered submarine a first time in their life.

    2. From Wikipedia:
    "Due to the high cost of each Yasen class submarine, some sources believe that a next generation of SSNs would be of smaller dimensions with a reduced armament/payload could be built" – and here we have 885M version, including "Kazan" submarine commissioned in 2021.
