I saw what I think is a sand lizard, one of the UK’s rarest reptiles on the golf course

4. It’s a common lizard…which is also pretty cool and sadly not that common.

   A sand lizard looks stumpier and is the most ridiculous colour (toxic slime green) during breeding season

7. I’ve seen one half that size. I’ve also seen a few adders with babies and a smooth snake swimming!
