  1. The convicted criminal and rapist has promised to be a dictator and his radical anti-American agenda is public knowledge via Project 2025.

In this election people are voting for America (President Biden) or against America (the criminal and traitor)

  2. no one thinks you’re “fucking bluffing.” we all know you’re fascist motherfuckers, and we look forward to your political demise

  3. The GOP is a psychotically deranged cult that actually hates America.

  4. Who could’ve predicted the unhinged man with no scruples would be even more dangerous with nothing to lose and weaker guardrails?

  5. >That’s the message one close Trump adviser and former administration official —**who requested anonymity**

Sorry, Rolling Stone, you have a duty to inform in cases as egregious as this.

  6. Hard to imagine an American not thinking this is mass-scale terrorism and a threat to the republic, unless they are lotus-eating Trumpies on a brain-starving fake sugar high.

  7. A second Trump term would be the end of the U.S. as we know it.

  8. Literally over my dead body

FAFO traitors. Confederacy needs to be ground into paste this time

  9. These dumb fucks. After you weaken the country, what do you expect? Nobody to notice and take us down?

  10. The billionaire class now owns both Convict Trump, and MAGA.

  11. No one with the ability to reasons doubts it. We’ve known his intent since he ran the first time. He doesn’t understand how government works and his primary interest is his own wealth.

He would support selling the entire country to Russia or China without a second thought if he would make a cent of profit.

  12. I mean, it’s that or dying in prison.

That’s why you don’t vote for a lifelong criminal, even before he’s in late-stage dementia.

  13. Anyone who dismisses the risks of a Trump second term is complicit in the results if he wins. Anyone. Completely. The third party voter, the young leftist, the exhausted 30something who “doesn’t pay attention to politics”…if you equivocate between Trump and Biden or stay home or vote third party, whatever comes next is, in part, your fault.

  14. Republican: “Yes, we do really want to burn it all down.”

    The right: “What a patriot!”

Democrat: “I think we might be able to things a little better than we’re currently doing them.”

The right: “If you hate this country so much, you should leave!”

  15. I hope all those retired “conservative” voters who wet their pants at the idea of “radical change” hear them loud and clear. One of the reasons why I’m enthusiastic about another four years of Biden is that I enjoy my life pretty well as it is and I’m not interested in seeing things change too much from how they are right now.

  16. Term? Ha! Cute. Term implies a predetermined endpoint.

  17. So, what’s everyone contributing in time and effort to help make sure we get a blue wave? Have you contributed $$$ as best you can? Are you going to knock doors, phone bank, address postcards, do data entry?

The GOP has lines of volunteers doing this stuff, largely through ties to churches.

If Democrats don’t catch up, they’ll be helping usher in Project 2025.

I myself am giving $5 every month to every state and assembly candidate, $25/month to a candidate running for Congress and same for federal senate, and $50 a month to Biden.

The $125 extra means I’ve given up Starbucks and alcohol (except a couple beers one Friday a month at my poker game). I’m door knocking, have already gotten to 400, 1000 is my goal.

Democracy is not a spectator sport.

  18. Oh go burn yourselves down and leave the rest of us alone.

  19. *”Several of these sources say that a wide range of litmus tests, loyalty screenings, and “guardrails” are already being implemented, or discussed with Trump, to root out so-called “RINOs” (Republicans in Name Only) and MAGA-skeptical conservatives from embedding themselves within a possible second Trump administration. These processes would be largely aimed at drastically curtailing the number of squishy Republican officials who would be able to get in Trump’s ear to, in the words of one GOP lawmaker on Capitol Hill, try to “scare Trump off of what needs to be done or should be.””*

So Trump will be surrounded by hand-picked only Trumpers to ensure other opinions are not considered.

Looks like Gilead is a sure thing.

  20. Importantly, it’s not that they want to burn it down for the sake of burning it down. Republicans see that the writing is on the wall and want to burn it all down and install themselves as permanent rulers. They do not care about our democratic system, they care about amassing power.

  21. Trumps followers: we’re going to burn it all down.

Trump: we’re going to burn it all down.

The media: does he really want to burn it down?

  22. This illiterate and deranged fuckwad wants to burn down American democracy and set up a protofascist monarchy.

And an unbelievable number of morons in this country are too stupid and blinded by voting strictly by hollow party name, or actually want the fascist dictatorship Trump is promising.

Lincoln et al aren’t the only ones rolling in their graves. This is exactly what the American Revolution was about in the first place – doing away with systems that install dictatorships and leaders who are above the law.

  23. I really can’t understand these people. They’re going to ruin the thing they’re fighting so hard to control. They will crash the stock market they invest in. They will make it harder to rebuild their houses when a hurricane strikes. They will make the world less safe for their kids. Etc.

Do they really not see this? Do they actually believe they can successfully navigate the implementation of this BS?

  24. It’s crazy how different the left’s reasoning behind “burn it all down” is compared to the Republican party’s desire to burn it all down (to rebuild it as an authoritarian state and to consolidate power into one figurehead that actively chooses profits over people).

  25. Fuck you if you vote for this garbage human/party

  26. >“OF COURSE WE aren’t fucking bluffing.” That’s the message one close Trump adviser and former administration official — who requested anonymity to speak candidly — wants to get across to the press and public

You’re so big and tough with your message you want to get across to the public, yet you’re too scared to put your name out there. 🤣

  27. You think the civil service is bloated and overpaid now, wait till this racist Demagogue appoints donors to top agency positions and those salaries start to climb. Meanwhile government services start to fail, and the resulting social unrest will be so destabilizing, it will make it easier to broaden authoritarian control and eliminate democracy.

  28. I’m voting blue across the board, but, I’m also getting my Italian passport set up and my wife is renewing her British passport. I’ll stick it out if I can, but if trump wins, I think we are going to leave.

  29. These moron’s who want to “burn down democracy”, should be treated as terrorist

  30. They want to burn it all down and bring America back to the 18-19th century to make it the Wild West again but this time with the GOP in complete control forever while the American people are products and have absolutely no say. I’ve been told this for decades by conservative and evangelical friends and family members.

  31. They told you that back in 2016 when Bannon declared to CPAC that the Maga goal was to “deconstruct the administrative state”. This is old-ass news. Wake the f up, Americans. You’re about to become Russia 2.0 under a guy with Alzheimer’s who wears orange face paint and uses two cans of Aquanet every day. It’s time to grow up and develop a political awareness beyond that of what Kim K and Disneyland have to offer or Maga will do it for you.

  32. Anyone who hasn’t seen John Oliver’s piece on a Trump second term and the 2025 Project should watch it. It’s rather eye-opening and, from a legal perspective (I’m an attorney), quite scary. I’d heard about it, but hadn’t really looked into it until I watched that piece. They are openly trying to dismantle our system of government and install an autocracy that benefits the few and well-connected. For fuck sake, one of their targets is NOAA… ya know, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration… the one that forecasts hurricanes (helps save lives), monitors weather and atmospheric conditions, etc… because it’s too “woke.” I guess that’s code for “based in actual science” now.

  33. He wasn’t bluffing the first time, either. Everyone who said he was just saying shit to get elected was promptly proven wrong. The only things that stopped him then was a reluctant congress, some staff who has a modicum of ethics, and incompetence. Now he knows better than to have anyone but boot kissers on his staff and ‘moderate republicans’ have become extinct.

Not only will he do what he says, he will be more successful this time. He is a buffoon, sure, but he’s an evil buffoon.

  34. I have an idea instead of trying to destroy the country that I currently live in. Why don’t they go to some other unoccupied land and start their own government?

  35. Trump will go scorched earth, and the SCOTUS that he appointed will let him do it. Our courts won’t save us. Heck, with all the gerrymandering and election denialism, there’s a possibility that our vote won’t save us either. Trump is a cancer. Actually, more specifically, he is a tumor. The entire right wing is a cancer.
