At the dawn of Le Pen’s political career, Marine Le Pen ousted her already decrepit father from the helm of the National Front, accusing him of excessive fascistisation of the party and personal views of the politician. How did she manage that? And most importantly, what was the purpose of this ?

3. Simple, Jean Marie Lepen was really way too excessive and was a very controversed person.
   Imagine being at the head of a political party that everybody call racist, which lower chance to get elected, just by the speech and action of one or some members, it had to be cleaned because mentalities haves evolved.

   Back in the days Jean Marie was military, admited that he tortured some Algerians, said that Auschwitz is nothing else than a detail of history, getting friends with negationnist, considered immigration like an open invasion, he’s the kind of guy who don’t care about doing offensive joke and using homophobic/racial slur.

   He’s the perfect intolerant person in France culture, he was very popular in 2002 but in 2007 he did a pretty small score at presidential elections ,the fact is that everytime he was in election, everybody united to block him to access power, everywhere in medias you may hear “those who vote for him are racist” (stilll did not change with Marine)

   After this failure, Marine Lepen and some individuals were willing to purge the political party of his old demons, to clean the political party so nobody can blame them anymore to be racist (spoiler alert, it did not work) , and Jean Marie never stopped to be himself being more and more controversial, also he wanted to retire and was not anyore at the head of the party, what led to this situation.
