Ukrainian Drones SMOKE Russian Oil Facilities!
Russian oil refineries have had another bad day on behalf of the ukrainians but they’re going after more than just oil refineries I’m Paul US Army Combat veteran let’s talk about what’s going on okay so this is a story from the Kev independent who actually has a pretty good inside track into scooping some of these stories where Ukraine launches deep strike attacks now this was from uh last night right uh and it targeted four refineries in Russ’s uh class noar cry and Ash kartan oblast these are uh sites where one oil refinery is happening uh oil refining rather and you guys know that is a key part of fueling Russia’s War economy right as other countries particularly India and China uh sort of navigate their uh postco return the prospect of cheap oil uh is just too tempting to turn down and so even though the US is not pleased about it India and China are still continuing to purchase Russian oil because it’s being sold at a discount and that in turn is funding the Russian war machine and so Ukraine has made it a priority to Target Russian oil and again the US is not particularly pleased about this because when Russ Russian oil refineries get hit there is a significant or measurable blowback into the general oil market right even though remember most Russian oil isn’t being sold to most countries the Russian oil purchased by India and China is consumption that or purchasing that isn’t happening from other oil sources so it’s still drives down price and so what you have is uh what you have is basically a the US wants to see um uh inflation right it’s an election year the administration is really worried about inflation and when the ukrainians crush Russian oil facilities um it’s going to raise the cost of a barrel of oil and therefore going to push inflation into basically all goods and services because any good that moves via o Overland via truck or via ship uh depend on fuel oil to move it so fuel the cost of a barrel of oil sort of governs the entire economic system now that doesn’t stop Ukraine though because Ukraine has a war to win and you can see that this strike is actually a pretty deep strike by Ukrainian standards right here is the uh deeper the ash Taron oblast um and you can see we’re looking at at oh what looks like about 3 or 400 miles um past uh vrad into the uh caucus region here so a sign of again Ukraine really rolling out some of their deep strike capabilities now Russia claims they shot down over a hundred drones in a mass strike that spanned Crimea CR Noor cry and vulgo grad oblasts and but it’s not about the drones you shoot down it’s about the drones you don’t and that is I what I think is always funny about these Russian statements is that the Russians love to tell you what they did do and this is a classic piece of Russian disinformation but they don’t tell about the drones that got through right it’s like saying listen listen I didn’t shoot anybody of the 15 bullets you know I 14 bullets I fired landed harmlessly hit buildings and they go what about the 15th ah don’t worry about the that’s nothing that’s not nothing in this case it’s four Russian ma major Russian oil refineries when they’re real close to the coast you know that that oil is going to be heading to Russian shipping uh shipping infrastructure to be moved out and sold elsewhere but that’s not all that they’ve gone after and we’re going to talk in a second about why uh Ukraine also chose these sites but first of course if you want to enhance your own uh operation maybe you want to work out a little harder focus a little more at the gym or just need to pick me up in the middle of the day strike gum the zero sugar energy drink alternative 90 milligrams caffeine in every piece as much as a Red Bull as much as an amp energy made here in the USA by liquid core and it uses the highest quality ingredients right we use natural caffeine derived from green coffee beans uh not any of the weird lab grown encapsulated stuff right it’s not made overseas um and it’s veteran owned own by this veteran so you can pick some up at strike gum.com or on Amazon just go to Amazon and search strike gum thanks okay so this is I thought even more interesting uh and I’m going to see if I can find it here um and that is that these there was other Targets in this wave of drone attacks notably some of the sites were actually where Russian shahad drones were being being stored prior to deployment on uh to the front line and it literally their intel was so precise they said these drones were actually stored overnight in these locations so that meant that even though they were going to be moved very quickly the ukrainians still manag to put drones into those targets Ukrainian forces also targeted Russian radar stations electronic intelligence centers um in Brians and Crimea now this is these drone uh t uh storage facilities which also included training buildings and commanding communication centers we in crador cry um that were hit so you see how there’s an advantage here right a very logical advantage to this uh let’s see if we can pull this up real quick we’ll get um CR CR oh oh there it was right so here’s oh yeah this tracks here’s Kor Kai you could see it’s right across from Crimea and for Ukraine you can see the obvious appeal here of a masked drone attack targeting right where the drones come in in mask from in Mass from somewhere like um you know zapot aesia cross over occupied uh you know occupied Ukraine and then get into cross Noor uh uh cross noar and they look like a mass drones and and because there’s so many specific targets here some very close together two of the refineries were just 10 km apart makes it really hard for the Russians to determine who is under attack right they don’t find out who’s under attack until the drones are just mere uh minutes away and that I think is a key part of sort of the deception aspect of these drone attacks or these massed drone attacks where even when there’s a high attrition rate right let’s say the Russian shot down 85% of the Drone they didn’t know who exactly was being targeted until the drones Chang their trajectory and finalized the route to the Target this this is my thesis um and apparently these some of these oil refineries have been burning for a long time almost an entire day uh one fire at an oil Depot uh again oh sorry this is an earlier strike that hit June 18th so it burned for 3 Days in these oil storage facilities so this is really a sign I think that Russian air defenses are not up to par and more importantly that Ukraine really feels like there’s some serious return in targeting Russian oil infrastructure and the thing that makes Russian oil infrastructure targeting so valuable isn’t just the fact that it deals a strategic blow to Russia it’s that oil oil pulled out of the ground can’t really do anything and a lot of countries don’t have their own refining capacity why because it’s not worth it right India doesn’t need to refine its own oil because it’s not going to pull it out right so instead a country like Russia sits there and goes listen if we’re going to sell crude oil we might as well learn to refine it ourselves it’s going to be we’ll be able to charge a higher price it’ll cost us less so you have Russia running these refineries but when you have this process it’s a chain you any disruption to any part of the chain functionally shuts down the rest of it everything below the chain so when you disable Refinery it’s as if you took out temporarily all the oil wells pumping oil that were supposed to be refined in that Refinery now sometimes you can divert things and send it to refineries that are functioning but a lot of times Your Capacity is your capacity and you don’t have the ability to to to refine any more oil faster from these sites so the the the downstream effects to the Russian economy are actually pretty substantial anyway guys thank you so much to our colonel members thanks to our Lieutenant tier members and thanks to our uh all the members of combat event news could not do it without you guys be sure to hit like And subscribe to the channel cheers

Definitely the damage is substantial specially if Ukraine keeps its Special Drone Operation 🎉
He said "shithead drones"…
Another one bites the dust! Are you ready? Hey. Are you ready for this? Another one bites the dust. Another one bites the dust. And another one gone, and another one gone. Another one bites the dust (yeah). Hey, I'm gonna get you too. Another one bites the dust. Are you still counting with me people because the count is just going to go up and up? As oil prices go down and down.
Thanks Paul – good analysis!
👋🇷🇸
Yeah but Ukraine isn’t hitting oil extraction facilities, they are hitting refineries. Forceing Russia buy diesel, gasoline and other petroleum products from China, India etc to fuel their war machine. It also stops them from exporting refined petroleum products which are higher margin products. It doesn’t reduce exports of oil, though so it won’t hurt the price of oil.
Price going up was the initial thought, but as @eliseuangelo6388 and others said, it has had the opposite effect in pushing price down, otherwise we'd be looking at nearer $100 a barrel.
Russia just exports more crude and buys back some refined oil.
Saudi has increased output recently.
The very recent price increases are more due to the general macro environment in major economies.
Lots of countries have refining capacity not just countries with large oil supplies, because shipping oil is much easier and safer then shipping many refined oil products. Heavy long chain hydrocarbons are relatively hard to burn and easy to store in barrels. Light short chain refined products are much harder to store and have lower ignition points. They also carry less energy, by volume.
Some guy just showed up in a time machine from 1925 and he asked me to tell you to come back to their pool party.
Administration is worried about inflation? Well it is mainly a result of their own dumbassery. Trying to prop up Russia as a strategy when Russia is your enemy seems like a fools game.
I sat through both commercials. The 2nd commercial was some really weird gay Burger King cowboy commercial but I sat through it anyway, so you could get the ad revenue. Full disclosure I've had a few shots of rye whiskey. If I had some strikegum in my system I'd have probably hit 'skip ad'. Heck, with that amount of caffeine infusion I probably would've turned over my entire computer desk!
As Ukraine grows its Military manufacturing and design it is only going to get worse for Russia!
CV , just can you explain to the viewers here why the US is worrying about crushing Russian oil facilities while US is meanwhile supporting sanctions of Russian oil ?? Cause to me your analyse doesn't make sense.
I love this channel but what in the actual fuck are you wearing?
EDIT: I'm getting a cage diving tour guide vibe.
Я сегодня заправил свой автомобиль 95 бензином за 2.9$ за галлон.
У России нет проблем.
Пару показательных взрывов на НПЗ (нескольких из десятков тысяч) ни о чём в масштабах страны.
Oil refineries don’t output crude oil. They output diesel and gasoline and bunker fuel for ships. Hitting the refineries makes Russia buy refined products from Kazakhstan and Belarus. Hitting the storage facilities is a short term win. They are easy to replace. Hitting the distillation columns puts the whole facility out of service because those components are made in countries that have sanctions against Russia.
The Ukrainian’s are fighting for survival from a ruthless killer and his Orc army occupying their country not worrying about price increases at the gas pump it’s a shame the Yanks don’t like it I’m sure they’d do the same.
Russia imposed a six-month ban on gasoline exports as of March 1. The attacks on refineries will have little impact on the oil market price at this moment.
Oil that is not used in Russian refineries is available for exports.
So it is adding not reducing the supply.
For fucks sake Paul… How many time I have to post the same thing thing… Oil refineries do not make oil, they convert oil into oil products like petro and diesel. Hitting refineries don't effect oil prices at all
One day US foreign policy won't be dominated by the price of oil, but until then all US presidents will appease all dictators if that can help keep down the per-barrel price of oil. The only partial exception comes when the USA thinks it can invade a country and take over its oil supply (Libia, Iraq) but that hasn't really worked out in the past so it's off the table for now. If US voters weren't so hopelessly ignorant they'd realize the President can't control the world price for oil but alas most US voters think it is the President who's responsible for the price they pay at the pump. And so the appeasement game goes on and on and on
