I was able to go see one of the small screenings of this film.
While this scene was just as nightmarish as you see here, the pro MMT side of the film gave no compelling ideas as to how “just print the money,” would keep us all safe from inflation.

Wow, I think a college economics freshman could explain U.S monetary policy better than this guy
Jeez… MMT… I get that Mosler didn’t want to pay taxes but now we have fascism and inflation.
They print it for liquidity.. it actually isn’t complicated at all. Businesses need a certain amount of money to be liquid and mobile so they can operate and do business.
