  1. I really appreciate Eberl and Freund taking up the finale dahoam 2.0 seriously

    They are making really good work

    First with the progressive signing of Kompany.

    Then we are also actively trying to build a stronger attack with Olise and a loan move for Xavi

    They also look pretty serious about singing a new dm

    also the progressive signing of Ito i.e a left footed CB, which was very much needed

    there were also reports of them cutting up wages or offloading some players which would also further financially strengthen the club

    they have done enough for me to know and put my 100% faith in them and Kompany.

  2. Olise is great at cutting inside man, can’t compare him to Robben but Musiala, Simons, and Olise could really be something very special

  3. Huge rumours for 2 new players last night without days of leaks 1 way or another. We are so back.

    Pornstein was dropping bomb after bomb last night and Pletti just kept repeating the same things he’s been saying about Palhinha & Simmons that he’s been saying for weeks.

  4. My take on Sane, Gnabry and Coman’s situation assuming Olise arrives this season and Xavi is also loaned to us

    Coman: I can very much see him being sold to PSG this season, he is too big of a player to be comfortable with being a bench option for next 3 years, this can also probably be his last major contract since he just turned 28, him leaving would probably be a profit for us financially

    Gnabry: He looks quite comfortable at Bayern and has never really hinted any moves, his contract expires in 2 year so I assume he will just fulfill his contract and leave for free, which I suppose is ok, a fit Gnabry even on bench does add up a lot of value to the squad

    Sanè: His situation is a bit more complicated, he was a regular starter last year and probably has more drive then the other 2 so I doubt he will be comfortable with being a bench warmer to a newly arrived player, which makes me think that he might want to be sold even though his contract is also only 1 year long and he also might end up fulfilling his contract

  6. The Olise news last night reminded of the old Bayern way to do business that I was missing too much. Not pletti saying”Very hot, very hot” but a direct confirmation from top sources like David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano

  7. I really think that our board is doing an amazing job and I am so happy that all the doomposters are silenced even BEFORE the official transfer season starts. Just shows how ridiculous the toxicity in this sub is.

    Let them cook and judge their work end of August. Right now we have reasons to be excited.

  12. How many players are we buying this season?

    We already got Ito done. Olise should be done very soon.

    We’re also hot on the heels of Xavi Simons and Joao Palinha.

    Tah is ready to join but Leverkusen’s valuation is too high. I’m assuming there are alternatives incase the Tah transfer falls through.

    I also heard talks are ongoing with Calhanoglu.

    We’re also looking for a back up striker although there are no concrete names as of yet.

  15. Xavi is super interesting, but it all depends what PSG want for him and if they are willing to sell him this summer. If they want their rumored 100m for him, i would switch to Plan B and bring in Doué for less than half the money.

  17. It’s too bad Julien Duranville’s been set back by injuries, I was lowkey expecting 23/24 to be his breakthrough season at BVB.

    I imagine Kompany’s keeping an eye on him, as he even went so far as to call him a future Ballon d‘Or winner.

  20. Well with Kompany wanting to keep Davies and going for Olise and Xavi while Musiala is here you can kinda see what the plan is: an asymmetrical 3-2-4-1 with Davies being a LW in possession, Musiala and Simons in the half spaces with Olise/Sane on the right.

    Somewhat similar to what we played with Nagelsmannik his first season I think?

    Just with players with the right profile this time.
