7. I do not seem to understand why people in France are against this clean-up operation and shockingly planning to mass poop into the river in order to prevent the clean up from becoming a success. I do agree that Olympic games take a toll on the environment but this does not seem to be a negative effect. Never been to France btw.

   in france you still drop the dark waters to the rivers?

   we collect them and the industrial waste too and send it to cleaning plants, the last ones rivers where done more than 20 years ago…

   and cleaned water is send upstream to keep the river levels.
