I’m going to stop treating animals like animals, and treat them as humans, start putting them as ‘kinderen ten laste’ while filing my taxes.
I applaud protection of animals but it’s weird that they carry higher sentences as abusing your partner of children.
Great, but until I see it actually applied and followed up by police,…. A lot of asylum animals come from “regular customers”, that just keep getting new pets when the previous ones get confiscated. Getting those animals out of the loop would help.
Also, “broodfokkers” are inherently abusing animals, so I hope this law gets used to finally put an end to this practice.

People would go crazy if this was done to dogs or cats. But since these are cows, pigs, chickens and we like to eat them, it’s okay.
