I read a few articles about future mandatory renovations. Basically, everything will have to be at least C level by 2050, with mandatory renovations every 5 years starting in 2030.

What do you guys think ? Is it realistic ? Will the governments really enforce it, or will it be like the closing of nuclear reactors that’s been ongoing since the 90’s

  1. It’s gonna encourage even more people to look at the EPC score and make it a more deciding factor in purchases.

    to the point demand for D,E,F homes will drop, price will have to drop. maybe even to a point that only companies looking to buy to replace the house with a new complex will want to buy those.

    there’s a chance just mentioning these plans will cause a lot of people to invest in getting the house up to c or higher now. to not run the risk of having to sell it for cheap should this be implemented.

    new houses pretty much need to get an A score already. so this is just a plan to speed up the modernization of older houses at the same time.

  2. Man, man, man toch. Ne mens kan niet meer leven of als zijn geld moet uitbesteed worden aan verbouwingen, isolatiewerken, elektrische auto, zonnepanelen, batterijen, groen daken etc.

    Recordaantal mensen naar de voedselbanken en dan komen ze af met deze zever.
