An entire country was never punished like this because of a minority of morons but people do it for U.K.
Good. Recently the english have not behaved themselves, not in football and not when it comes to other issues. Punishment is only just, sad that it has come to this.
Those involved are pissing themselves laughing at this. It was a huge day for these people, especially after covid. It would take a fuck ton more to make them think again.
It was a clusterfuck of bad planning. And no racist chants do not have the potential to kill people, and rushing a final has the potential to get lots of people killed. It is like the words Heysel and Hillsborough have no meaning in England now.
Also, they could have been terrorists, could they not? They once tried to attack a France Germany match, lucky they did not think of trying the euro final(!) they would have found it really easy.
One Match ar closed doors is absurd. If this happened in any other country, ministers would have to resign or something. British press would be screaming at uefa for having given a final to an incompetent host. But it is England, British press thinks it is all normal and btw racism chants and abuse on Twitter is what you should be caring about, because that is much better ( for the executive) to get outraged about and not question the planning.
No worries, I’m assuming we’ll just fill the stadium with Schoolchildren and their ‘carers’ like Hungary did recently?
England’s showning throughout the tournament was a disgrace, and the punishment is justified.
This is pretty embarassing for us and well deserved. 10 years ago we’d have been bricking it in case a nutcase with a bomb strolled in during the chaos, that hasn’t gone away.
Hopefully any event like this in future will be properly policed.
