Woken up at ten past five to go the loo. Sat there for an hour passing arse gravy. Made a coffee, fed the cats and put the first load of washing on. Most likely just going to be doing the drab stuff like food shopping, housework and preparing for the week ahead.
Literally just woken up and as it’s Sunday if I don’t get up and going, I will keep drifting off to sleep all day. I’m so mentally and physically knackered by the end of the week that Sunday has turned into a system reboot for my brain and body.
It’s like my brain recognises I don’t have to go anywhere and is using the downtime to delete the crap of the previous week. But rather than just relaxing, I actually have to be asleep for some reason. Unfortunately this means that on a Sunday I can be unconscious for 18+ hours in a 24 hour period, between proper bedtime hours and the day sleep.
A tad hungover. Just a smidgen.
Thankfully there’s nothing that needs doing today other than making dinner later so that’s nice.
Wedding annivesary, going to a nice little cafe on the river, with wife, son & mother-in-law
Today I am driving back home from Cornwall. I’ll miss the scenery and the peace and quiet, but am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed
Day …I’ve no fucking idea, possibly 7, of the flu. Most of the disgusting nose art contributions have mercifully ceased, which is a major positive, just dealing with the tail end of the infection, which is mainly fatigue. I foresee a fair bit of resting up over the next few days.
Laying in bed currently, thinking about if I should order a double sausage mcmuffin with extra has brown…..
About 10:00, I will be going out and continuing with breaking up a concrete base in the garden, which should only take an hour or so, then after clearing up the mess, we’ll go for a little walk by the sea and have an ice cream.
Been nursing a sick cat all week. We’re starting to see improvements but he’s still not eating enough, so I’m waiting for my husband to get up and get a pill down his throat. In the meantime, it’s just me, an iced coffee, and you, Reddit.
I no longer work Sundays so I am in bed!

Going for a mooch round the local car boot and then my youngest has a birthday party to go to
Off to Flamborough , hopefully some puffins about.
