  1. Congratulations India on becoming part of the meat cube in the not so distant future

  2. I think a lot of these leaders are just stroking Putler. They aren’t going to lose anything by giving that sociopath his propaganda points. Why on earth would they want to keep themselves tied to a country that can’t supply an army beyond 100km of its borders. India is just keeping their gas station happy with empty platitudes.

  3. Before starting to get excited, India already had similar pact with [Japan](https://www.reuters.com/article/world/india-japan-seal-military-logistics-cooperation-pact-idUSKBN261181/) and the [US](https://www.indiandefencereview.com/news/india-and-the-us-sign-the-logistics-exchange-memorandum-of-agreement-lemoa/) for a while, and the Russian pact seem to have been in the work since [2021](https://thediplomat.com/2021/09/indias-military-outreach-military-logistics-agreements/) (likely delayed until now because of the 2022 invasion if Ukraine).

India biggest threat and enemy by far is China, and getting access to another military logistic partner is a plus for them. For example, this could let the Indian Navy to visit Russia Vladivostok port, allowing India Navy longer deployment time in the China Sea.

Also, India need to limit China influence over Russia, and making such type of deal with Russia make sure they remain a little more neutral.

While the West may be able to shun Russia (because the military and economic tie has always been weak and limited to energy sector), Russia can still play a role in the East.

  4. The photo looks like Modi is about to go vampire on Putin’s neck…

  5. They really are setting up the neo axis power dude. This is like a slow motion ww3 and I do not like it.

  6. This weeks developments in North Korea might change this somewhat because I doubt India would want to be seen as in partnership with North Korea.

  7. Won’t matter. India is China 40 years ago. They will not honor any pact.

  8. Won’t be bad cuz india would give the US a closer access to Russia and I’m sure Russia knew this lol. This is their PR to show that they have friends.

  9. When this shit kicks off the population density maps are going to change as much as the topography.

  10. India was a satellite of the USSR . These old friendships need to end.

  11. Where are all the people saying Russia is isolated from the world?

Just India and China are 35% of the world.

  12. Man that area of asia is scary, russia/india/china/dprk. Dictatorships with alot of population.

  13. Collaborate with Russia or China, they’ll eventually eat you up. Collaborate with the US, they’ll want you to grow together. Choose one….

  14. Yes, russia is world known to keep up to the agreements. Such as Budapest Memorandum.

  15. I think Putin sees 3 billion people he can throw at Ukraine. He’d be stupid to think that, but I can’t discount the possibility.

  16. India has long had a military relationship with Russia and before that the Soviet Union. Not sure it helps them all that much really.

  17. What a time to be in the wrong side of history. If that’s true, bravo India and fuck you!

  18. India will not sign this as it would put them in opposition to the US, their number 1 ally, and economic backer

  19. We need to stop all aid and weapons sales to any country that befriends Russia. Simple…..

  20. India has always been a middle man between USA and Russia. I don’t see this changing anytime soon.

When the war with China starts India will have a choice of either remaining neutral or siding with the US and allowing the US to setup a blockade at the India strait.

  21. Yet Indians on Reddit keep telling us they aren’t led by a Fascist.

  22. Just put a 100% tariff on all Indian goods and services. Let them trade exclusively with their Russian bff poostain.
