Im asking because my electricity is out and this particular switch isn’t going up, is it the main or something?

    You have a fault in one rooms, Turn Off all circuit breaker, Turn on the RCD and Turn on step by step the Singles circuit breaker, the fault is in the rooms, where the RCD Turns Off.

  2. This is an RCD. It detects ground faults. You can try unplugging everything from the wall sockets and switch it on again. If that doesn’t work, it might be your stove thats the reason (usually hardwired) or the rcd might be broken. Contact your hausmeister.

    If the rcd stays up after unplugging everything, you can plug in the devices one by one. If the rcd trips again you found your faulty device.
