  1. I think they use these drones to bring the FPV drones to high altitudes as well, and hunt Russian recon drones. Some analysts say this is an absolute game changer since Russia without recon drones is basically blind.

  2. Yo dawg, I put a drone on your drone, so you can bomb russkis while you bomb russkis.

  3. At least a million more where these came from, russians.

    A million more *at least*.

  4. With a repeater on the carrier drone, or another one nearby, this should extend the range of FPV drones quite considerably. Get them way out there before they start using their own battery for flight.

  5. That’s how they’ve been hitting Russian artillery pieces 20km behind front lines for a few weeks now I believe.

Someone’s posting detailed losses and quite a few artillery pieces have “FPV” as the cause and usually these cheap FPVs are limited to about 10km

  6. “Bee 52” Mothership, that drop smaller bees. And operators behind the lines through Starlink use drone precise bombardment.
    Is this viable?

  7. Next up will be glide carriers… cheap disposable plastic shells that glide 10-20km and then drop off half a dozen FPVs in an area.

As long as a carrier/repeater drone is available, the FPVs only need to survive a few minutes after they drop to find a target.

  8. I heard you liked drones so much so we put a drone on your drone

  9. Holy shit dudes it really feels like all the games and movies were not so far off…

  10. Darpa should contract these guys after the war is done. There’s been a proposal to do this with B52s for years but I don’t think it really went anywhere

  11. Range extension for the little suicide drones, plus allows for multiple hits to happen in quick succession. Add in that the big drone can get everything higher up and it’s scary what a bunch of these could do.

Flies in, drops off a set of little drones, flies back, reloaded, repeat.

Those little drones are so cheap to make that you could send thousands of them before hitting a million dollars in cost. The most expensive thing is probably the explosives.
