  1. There is a wee bakery in Restalrig, Edinburgh called Allan’s, that does a mean kebab pie. Layers or doner “meat”, onions and cabbage all laced with a chilli sauce encased in a classic hot crust pastry shell that is fine.

  2. In Dundee it seems pretty much everywhere does Donner and chicken tikka pies now.

  3. The scotmid near me does these with chilli sauce but they started about 1.50 a pie and now I think it’s around 2.20

  4. Big fan of Lasagne and Chilli pies. Easy to find in Edinburgh!

  5. I want to say I wouldn’t eat it, but I know I would, like a hungry warthog.

  6. Not sure. I tried one from the local butcher’s and it wasn’t great.

The butcher’s pretty good and does an excellent mince and mealie so it’s not entirely due to them.

  7. Bit of chilli sauce and garlic mayo and that would be top notch
