View from Bonn-Beul over the top of Kennedy bridge to the city center during a wonderful late summer sunset. One of the few bigger cities that feel like a little familiar village.

  1. Love that area right there. My wife and I stayed at an airbnb very close to there by Gaststätte Adler and absolutely loved everything over there.

  2. Does every German city have a Kennedy Bridge? Based on my extensive experience of a) living in Hamburg; and b) this photo, the answer is ‘yes’.

  3. Nürnberg, München, Dresden, Freiburg, Heidelberg, Kalrsruhe… all of those seem to be small villages when walking some parts of them (most of them).

It seems to me that Mannheim is way bigger than München. MAnnheim seems much more “compressed city” , while München Seems to be an “enlarged village”.
