Well… yeah.
If you want a private ringfenced sovereign cloud infrastructure then you need to stump up a shit load of money. The same thing the MOD does

Can’t the UK just legislate British data in British cloud? Then Microsoft will have no choice to make it so or do not run cloud business in the UK? There would be many British clouds in the air with British data.
