2. It’s unfortunate what can happen, when you direct your national security apparatus to focus more on securing your own power, and pursuing imaginary or exaggerated threats, instead of focusing on the actual danger you face.

   But I’m sure the Russians will take note of their failure, and certainly not do anything as silly as blame Jewish Ukrainian lizard monsters for the rise of ISIS.
