It could be an orange peeling tool. I remember something similar from my youth. You cut the skin once around the top, then insert the other side and slice down the side, cutting the skin without damaging the orange segments inside.

The amount of devices produced to perform rhe most trivial tasks is quite amazing in germany. For example, there is a special trident used to eat a “maiskolben” which just makes me turn my eyes really. Like it’s such a human thing to eat it with your hands, but no, it’s too dirty, gotta use these tools! 😀
