Estonia Ready to Send Military to Ukraine! ‘No Red Lines for Us’ – Authorities Stated

since the beginning of the fulls scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops Estonia has allocated the largest amount of a to Cave among partner countries as a percentage of its GDP as of the end of April 2024 more than 520 million EUR our focus is on supporting Ukraine deescalation cannot come at CPO and at the expense of Ukraine Estonia offers Ukraine political and also practical support we help them with the defensive military aid and expertise the country’s government has fixed the level of military assistance to Ukraine for the next four years in the amount of a quarter of a perent of GDP this is about €20 billion EUR annually in addition Estonia continues to provide diplomatic support to Ukraine and insists the territorial concessions from KF will not bring peace despite what Putin says publicly we have no reason to believe that he has changed any of his goals Ukraine also has not abandoned its desire to exist just as we have not abandoned the desire for European security to be based on the poers it has been thus the various peace initiatives meetings and Summits can currently be viewed as political stakes and the ground to show how much support each site has among the world’s countries Jonathan savov Chancellor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia in a commentary to the Broadcasting Company err Estonia is among the states that have allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to use weapons transferred to them to strike military Targets on Russian territory the Estonian government and diplomatic Corp are calling on their European colleagues not to be led by Russian propaganda which insists on supposed red lines for the gremlin and to follow the example of talin the Estonian ambassy also does not reject the idea of sending its military contingent to Ukraine we have said that we are ready to discuss it it’s not a red line for us we’re just hoping for the common position of NATO or the European Union and our leaders I mean especially the defense Ministry are discussing it and they said recently that nothing is out of the table for us and we have trained Ukrainian instructions now on our soil the victory of Ukraine is the Milestone that is needed at least to ensure that there might be positive Democratic changes in the future an C ambassador of Estonia to Ukraine in an interview with the RBC Ukraine publication in addition to to helping Ukraine Estonia like other Baltic countries neighboring the agressor is building up its own military potential taling has allocated more than 1 B300 million for National Defense in 2024 it is very important that we acknowledge that uh the financing at the moment needs to be increased uh and uh we do not have enough uh funds and uh and the money in defense uh and we do believe that 2% is not enough and we need to go uh further from here Estonian proposition has been that uh maybe we should think from 2.5% Estonia is investing 3.4 this year and in the upcoming year it’s more than 3% amid the gree threats from the keming the commander of the Estonian Defense Forces proposes to increase defense spending to 5% of GDP first of all according to General mod in harm the country’s military industrial complex should focus on producing more ammunition reported by J karisa P QV news

Deescalation cannot come down at gunpoint and at the expense of Ukraine – Estonian PM Kaja Kallas stated in Berlin and, thus, confirming readiness to send Estonian troops to help Ukrainian cause at non-battle tasks (such as training, demining, medical and humanitarian missions etc). Putin’s numerous threats obviously do not scare Estonia as Baltic countries constantly live with a threat of military escalation with Russia and one more ‘scary story’ will not change the country’s decisive position.

  1. Let Estonian fight then…give’m practice when they get invaded…easy for failing mps to suggest it…but as USA said to France…no nato troops

  2. Estonians have a special place inthe hearts of older Ukranians as they helped Ukraine create and assert their national documents after the fall of Russian communism. The estonians help their brothers now as well without fear. Estonia has dedicated almost more than any other country, per capita, to enable Ukraine to defend herself. I'm extremely proud of my Eesti brothers and sisters.

  3. Estonia knows, beyond any doubt, that it is on Putin's shopping list. Stopping him in Ukraine is a much cheaper option.

  4. The armed forces of Ukraine have struck at the civilian infrastructure of Sevastopol. The Ukrainian army launched a strike using ATACMS tactical missiles with a cluster warhead supplied by the United States. The beach where civilians were resting was shelled by American weapons.

  5. Might be a idea to make and distrubute Navalny roubles for inside Russia acceptable for EU and NATO banks outside of Russia? Just a thought.

  6. Where the H… You Estonia will provide soldiers?you dont have enough soldiers to protect your own land, and you are talking sending soldiers 🇺🇦.If Estonia send troops to Ukraine you are pulling whole NATO to the conflict, and you cant even protect own land and still going to send away from little.Dont make this war come all and i mean all Europe.🇫🇮🇪🇺 SLAVA 🇺🇦

  7. What I find worrying are the claims by some politicians (one in the UK included, hoping to become PM) that the war is entirely the fault of NATO and that he has been warning since 1990 – according to a recent interview he gave – that unless NATO became smaller rather than larger then they were going to force Russia /Putin into attacking to protect Russia. Apparently he is also a person to be admired for the way he has governed Russia and held the country together and united.
I'm genuinely not sure if he really has simply swallowed Russian propaganda or genuinely believes what he is spewing forth (unfortunately I suspect the latter as he, or one of his fellow party candidates at least, has also expressed the opinion that the UK should have sat back in 1939 and left the rest of Europe to their fate under Stalin/Germany, claiming there was and is a majority belief that that would have been the correct thing to do both then and now) and if he wins I have a nasty feeling that Putin might just gain an ally in the UK govt.
    Slava Ukraine from Ireland

  8. Estonia has a tiny population that is mostly made up of women over 50. Who are they going to send their female over 50 PM?

  9. So this is the latest Ukrainian propaganda campaign trying to convince the Americans to remove all restrictions. I'm a strong supporter of Ukraine but the fact is this is kind of dumb because the US is the power that has nuclear weapons counter bailing the Russian nuclear weapons. Estonia does not have these.

  10. Good job Estonia!! A country with balls unlike the rest of Europe 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🔱🔱🔱🔱🔱🔱💪💪💪💪💪🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

  11. Estonia friggin ROCKS! They absolutely realize the position they are in right now, in that it could have just as easily been them. When Russia has taken the non NATO states, if they get to that point, they will start probing the NATO nations, probably the Suwalki Gap, first

  12. Russia needs to ask itself "why are all the countries of the former Soviet union trying to get away from us so much? What are we doing so wrong"?
Only then, will you start to develop some insight…….

  13. In a war of attrition in the end, both sides will not have enough manpower to fight. Thus, neighboring Nato countries will have no choice but to join the fight for their survival too against Russian invasion.
