the desperate search for missing Brit Jay Slater focuses on a 2,000 ft Ravine near where he last found a friend drones helicopters and dogs have scoured the island since the 19-year-old vanished on Monday but have so far failed to find any trace of him Jay’s last known location was to Tino rural Park in the northwest of the island and a 10-hour walk from his accommodation he had been to the NRG festival with two friends who was on holiday with he then left the club with two men he had met that evening and went back to their accommodation the next morning he left the property and called his friend Lucy law telling her his phone was about to die and he was stranded in the middle of nowhere a mammoth search operation was launched on Monday and now teams are combing the masar Ravine near a path in the mountainous terrain where he made his call new footage of the search shows helicopter sweeping across the area while firefighters volunteers and police on the ground search
