Not subbed to De Standaard anymore so not sure what this is about, but I stopped using deliveroo once I learned how they operate. If you are an employee de facto, it shouldn’t matter what your contract says, you should be protected by the same laws. There’s more companies like this (Ryanair comes to mind) that offer good prices at the cost of human dignity. It’s abuse of the freelancer status and it should be illegal across Europe.
MR gedraagt zich toch echt schaamteloos als de politieke lobby-arm van de zakenwereld.
The race to the bottom orchestrated by the liberals is destroying so many sectors.. Social inequality is already big enough. Would be great if we’d stop treating people in our communities as slaves.
