According to the journalist of Diario Sport, Ansu Fati will try to convince Hansi Flick, but the club would prefer to give him back on loan. Does he deserve a second chance at Barça? I think the first step would be to take the number 10 shirt off him, it's the only way to take the pressure off him and give him a fresh start.

I think the least he deserves is the benefit of the doubt. At the end of the day, we don't lose anything by keeping him in the squad. I doubt any team will want to take a chance on him after his loan spell at Brighton. Either he'll do well and increase his value or he'll do badly and we'll be looking for a way out in 2026.

  1. I love Ansu, but he was barely even making the bench at an injury prone mid table PL team. Last summer, we probably could have sold him for more than €20m, but if we sell him this summer we’re only going to get around €10-15m.

    Flick will give him a chance in preseason obviously, but if he stays and has another awful season then there’s no way we’re going to be able to sell him for €10m in 2025. Our best chance to make profit is to sell Ansu this summer. We have to offload some players.

  2. i hope it works ,getting fati back to his form while being extremely hard to do would fix us alot of problems

  4. If we can offload Ferran, he should get another chance. Otherwise he has no place at Barca, he would probably be a reserve with an insane salary

  5. We probably need to sell either Ansu or Ferran this summer. And if we do keep Ansu, the #10 should go to either Gundogan or Raphinha imo.

  7. What do you guys reckon happened with Ansu? Was it the injury and then hesitation to play the way he used to or just shaken confidence. He had enough quality to be the key player from Brighton but wasn’t good enough

  8. Anything is possible when you have an extremely gifted player like Fati, all we can do is hope
