1. It’s hard to replace experience and Trump has a lot of experience with bankrupting things. His strategy seems to be reducing revenues while increasing expenses. It’s a bold strategy Cotton, but it seems to pay off for him.

2. Even before the pandemic. Had to pay off those donors.

3. Biden’s at $6.4T of new debt during his term, which has another 3 quarters to go and might add another $1T.

4. Misleading headline. You can’t talk about Trump’s deficit spending without mentioning the Covid crisis.

5. He also holds the record for the worst jobs loss for any president, there were less jobs at the end of his term than at the beginning, truly an accomplishment on its own

7. To be fair, he did it during Covid. I don’t think s anyone expected Covid to be bad

8. The $2.1T attributed to COVID relief under Biden is disingenuous, not much actually went to COVID relief. Though counting 90% of that COVID relief as non-COVID still puts him under Trump.

9. The yearly debt numbers disagree.

10. And we have little to show for it beyond $2 trillion in tax cuts for those who least need it.

    Not a Trump fan and he did spend too much, however the “excess” people refer to was due to Covid and is what any president (and any congress) would have pushed for
