Boris Johnson attacked Farage in the Mail at the weekend and called him a Putin stooge. And yet the same Boris Johnson said a few years ago that the EU provoked Russia into attacking Ukraine. That seems to have been brushed under the carpet, with Johnson now reinventing himself as Churchill.
Didn’t he just say that Putin was provoked ? I may be wrong as I don’t watch every minute of politics.
Ok it if this is true then I would say he is correct. The world was aware of the conductions he had for him not to invade Ukraine and they went ahead of tried to get it in EU. One of many reasons I suppose but why poke the bear so to speak.
Let’s us say for what it is. Someone has had pockets being lined since 2001 with wars and conflict going back to 9/11 and didn’t want it to stop and they have leaders of this world as their puppets.

I am not a fan of Farage for many reasons, and I am not even British, but even I know that he has never expressed support for Russia. A simple google enabled me to read that he’s condemned Putin’s actions many times. A lot of the people in this sub see a headline and blindly accept it as truth. Many in my birth country think the British are missing a few brain cells, and a lot of you commenters more than support this theory…
i mean isnt the NATO expansion related too Russian aggression to begin with ? seems silly to not expand just to appease russia, i understand he didnt say hes backing him he condemned the war, but to say the expansion caused the war is stupid, the whole point is to defend against russian incursions as they tend to do so around different countries in the world

Maybe “Reform” should merge with the “Workers Party” instead of the Tories, or better still merge with the “WP” and the Cruella Braverman wing of the Tories. We had the Workers Revolutionary Party: now it’s time for the Workers Reformatory Party.
More seriously, there seems to be a strong convergence between Farage’s party and Galloway’s party on anti-EU, anti-“globalism”, anti-“woke”, homophobia, transphobia, support for Russia.

I’m disappointed but not surprised to see Farage and his consorts reverting to the American method of right wing politics. All policies based on anti-wokeness and anti-immigration, presented by a millionaire masquerading as one of the people. The sad thing is, it’s probably going to work, at least a bit. I’ll be interested to see where they are after the election, because I could see them becoming the face of the opposition in the next couple of years
It’s hardly backing, just not following the one dimensional Russia Bad, West (NATO) Good Mantra. Playing devils advocate for the many reasons Russia are hostile to the West is not that “Shocking”. The politicians coming out and saying how repulsed they are by the comments. Mostly cowards not willing to give the devil his due on why these things happen and how the West have made mistakes in their dealings with Russia leading to this point.
The left keep using this tactic and failing miserably. How did the Trump Russia investigation go?
To be fair to them, there is evidence to SUGGEST, and I do mean to suggest, that boris Johnson might have stopped Ukraine surrendering in 2022.
Also, BBC and Rishi Sunak failed to acknowledge Iran’s motive for that missile raid she launched on Israel earlier this year, which leads me to believe that Israel did infact blow up an Iranian consulate. farage might be a Russian agent, but our elites do us no favours ignoring Iran’s motives for her anti Israel actions
