Its unclear how much Russia still control in Vovchansk, but Ukraine appears to be very slowly retaking the town based on videos we get. Its likely difficult for either side to properly control much of it since its mostly just been turned into a big pile of rubble from Russian airstrikes and artillery
The very northern area + the aggregate plant is still controlled by Russia for sure. Everything else is either a gray area or in Ukraines control
Sidenote: Ukraine seems to control the tiny village of Tykhe east of Vovchansk based on Russian airstrikes published today. It was unknown if Russia captured it and people thought it was abandoned by Ukraine since they blew (or attempted to blow) the bridge leading into it
What does police brigade mean? Are they former policemen? Just asking.
