Literally ANYTHING except address the root causes.
And don’t forget Part 4- be sure to blame the individual
What happened to prevent?
The U.S. is breaking the chains of capitalism that have brutally suppressed the working people of the world for the last century?
This is smart, we need more of this because emissions are not going to stop. China is still building coal fired power plants at an alarming pace. They approved 218 GW of new coal power in just two years, enough to supply electricity to the whole of Brazil.
India is also rapidly growing its coal power capacity. https://www.reuters.com/world/india/india-scrambles-add-coal-fired-power-capacity-avoid-outages-sources-2023-11-29/
We can’t stop this alone. CO2 emissions are going to continue to rise. We can however make as much effort as possible to mitigate the harm.
