It’s not going to bloody go anywhere without investment into Mental Health and Substance Abuse support first.
There’s absolutely zero appetite for either, they’re not vote winners because your average voter sees both as weakness so it’s fucked right from the outset and the further either of those services get driven into the ground and picked up by private profiteering, that’ll be it.
Homelessness is exactly where the Tories want it – a pervasive example to scare the proles into accepting whatever else they want to do.
