Lol, did they have the instructions for how to negate the device printed on it or are the cleaning instructions just for cleaning inside the actual mechanism?
Looks like that red button has soming to do it with.. Guessing push & hold down whilst opening the window..
That it maybe looking at it the black button needs to be pushed into it so hold the red button and push it in maybe.. Otherwise I have no clue.. sorry.
Can you not just go outside?
These locks/restrictors are usually there to stop people falling out or opening fully to smoke.
Press the red button down while pushing the black button in and pulling the window down
The text says to press both the black button and red tab/clip thing down

Are you in a hotel? Ask them to bring a fan up.
