To my fellow European, how can you live in a country and enjoy life without such majestic rock formations?

  1. Easy. Drive my caravan to the mountains once a year for a couple of weeks. Toet toet mountain dwellers.

  2. Honestly I always feel a bit uneasy when I look into all directions and can see quite far and there are no mountains. Completely flat areas that span further than I can see are eerie.

  3. No I could not, that’s why I won’t go away from the alps

  4. feel bad for the potato germans and swamp germans, must suck not being able to walk several kilometers up in elevation.

  5. I think they are gathering in large, unicoloured crowds and jump left and right.

  6. Because I am a rolling hills and white cliffs enjoyer

  7. I live below sea level. It’s nice to see the guests arrive 40 minutes before they’re at the door

  8. It’s amazing how much better we are than everybody else🗻

  9. Once thought to be the highest point in continental Denmark, [Himmelbjerget](https://gdkfiles.visitdenmark.com/files/415/264687_Himmelbjerget-skanderborg_Per_Bille.jpg?width=987) (literally Sky Mountain) rises dramatically from the lakes in the High Lakes district of Jylland.

You can sail on the world’s oldest paddle steamer Hjejlen to the foot of the mountain and trek the arduous trail up the north face of the mountain.

Once you reach the top, you are rewarded with fantastic view of the lakes formed during the last ice age, from ice sheets kilometers thick, which covered northern Europe and stopped right here in the middle of Denmark.

  10. I live in the mountains right now, but I come from the coast and I wonder how people can live in the mountains. You have to climb a fucking mountain to see the horizon. Not having a clear view makes me anxious

  11. Depends, if you see it daily, it gets boring. In Austria, you see mountains daily, unless you live in Vienna. In Finland, there are no mountains. You just get used to it.

  12. Imagine having straight flat roads for more than two kilometers. Truly savage.

  13. Easy: I can walk all over my town and not be sweating like a dog.

  14. I like not puking out my insides from the effort when I go for a bike ride
