Nigel Farage Is ‘PEDDLING Putin’s Lines’ – Military Expert Slams Reform Leader’s Comments on Russia

if you look at Nigel farage’s history in praising Vladimir Putin um and the way he said this and wasn’t extremely clear about what he meant by it if that’s indeed what he meant it would have been taken as it has been by most people of him uh suggesting that there was some form of excuse um created by um or some form of Reason created by the EU and NATO um for Vladimir Putin to go into Ukraine put that again into context with the support Nigel farage has for Donald Trump and Donald Trump coming out with the same sort of statements actually doesn’t make me believe that he was trying to be subtle and suggest that this was purely the excuse that Putin was using and of course you know he he would never use that himself he didn’t he didn’t say that he didn’t clarify that and therefore he’s pedling the line that Putin is feeding to his own people but he’s pedling it out into the west and that will be clipped by Russia Today and other Russian TV programs and played back to the Russian people saying you know even influential Western politicians are saying this as well so look it’s justifying what we’re doing he’s undermined a lot a lot of the positions philli I I’m not quite sure what it’s going to be but we’ve we we’re we’ve been talking about this perhaps we should just play the clip it’s about 25 seconds uh of of what he said on provoking Putin I stood up in the European Parliament in 2014 and I said and I quote there will be a war in Ukraine why did I say that it was obvious to me that the ever Eastwood expansion of NATO and the European Union was giving this man a reason to his Russian people to say they’re coming for us again and to go to war it’s interesting that that that analysis did you read that as saying it’s basically our fault the EU and Ukraine we were a member of the EU or an attempt to sort of say the if you push on Russia’s borders if NATO expands like this you are going to provoke the bear no you know from to say that that happened in 2014 um 2014 is when Russia first um invaded Ukraine and took uh Crimea you bloodlessly but and then created you know it was the FSB that created the two false um Democrat or as they call Democratic republics or republics of lank and donet um that created that um conflict in the eastern part of Ukraine and the Russian speaking part of Ukraine since then um if those had been the excuses how would he then apply that same logic to uh the Russian um conflict in Georgia and the Russian conflict in cnia in 2000 and elsewhere you Putin has got an expansionist policy he wants to recreate the old Soviet Union he wants all of the old Soviet Union countries back again um subservient to Russia in the same way that belus is he’s been stating that for a lot longer than since 2014 he started his information operation against Ukraine back in um I think it it almost goes back to 2001 2002 you you started to see an awful lot of rhetoric and and things that that were coming in through then um so he’s been planning this for a long long time and the fact that Ukraine was starting to move more towards the West the West doesn’t expand you the EU doesn’t expand people look at the economic potential that there is in joining you know such a such a power block and go that’s good for us and they apply to do it and have to meet lots of criteria before Putin invaded Ukraine was nowhere near meeting the criteria to join the EU or to join NATO and it’s it’s his invasion that has um put all of this support in to help them get to that position

Former military intelligence officer Philip Ingram analyses Nigel Farage’s claim on BBC Panorama that the west provoked Russia into invading Ukraine.

The Reform UK leader is facing a backlash from across the political spectrum for saying that the expansion of NATO and the EU “provoked” Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.

  1. What is it with these war mongers ? Nigel Farage states obvious facts. Putin wants to negotiate. Western leaders just want to keep provoking the Bear. Playing with our lives. How about asking the people if they want war with Russia ?

  2. Farage said nothing wrong, this conflict is not black white, read a bit about the history of this region before trying to portray farage is some putin stooge, he's not. I've the audacity to claim this, many silent voters think exactly the same thing what farage said openly, + 20 years of war and on top NATO behaving more and more as a global police force, completely betraying their own original mission statement, more then 1000 + bases spread all over the world, going from conflict into another. Who remember the moment Trump stopped an airraid on Iran in 2019 when our media tried to portray him as a spineless coward trying to sell the crap of "because he didn't bomb Iran it is a reason that the world is more dangerous now", using Bolton as some expert, same Bolton who love to be in a continious war. I served 4 years even my buddies are telling me that it is so obvious how we can not resist going from one conflict into the other. I fully admit Putin is a danger but people a bit of selfreflection before claiming that farage said something wrong.
I'll garantuee you this obvious hitjob will give more votes to farage

  3. NIGEL FOR NEXT PM 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 RUSSIA & US AGREED IN 1990 WHEN DISMANTLING USSR THAT – NO BALTIC STATE – JOINS NATO. — DO YOUR RESEARCH. STUDY HISTORY ——-

  4. And Sunak is Biden's puppet, whom to believe?
As for me I just want a peace 🕊️ but not the war.

  5. Is this what the Tory’s and the labour left wing spin merchants have got on Farage??? lol Fortunately people who watched this provocation by the BBC and actually heard what he said will understand what he meant . I think he’s right ..100% .
Well done Mr Farage for sticking to your guns on this one .. actually the people believe you as Reform have actually gone up in the two latest polls .

  7. The NHS can't be fixed with money. NHS staff are the modern day equivalent of Miners (I was one) most being lazy greedy and overpaid. Lack of adequate control has brought about a general lack of discipline and morale.

Starmer will never fix it with his idea of paying for more staff (it already has too many)

The existing people need to be made to do their jobs better.

    Give Reform UK a chance.

  8. These twisted channels are really helping Reform UK. We need more of this stuff, keep it coming.
Vote Reform UK to counter the EviI Pagan CuIt called lsIam.

  9. He merely deviated from the bias pro-Western narrative. More of us should question what We're fed by the media and by people with poorly hidden agendas.

  10. For once I agree with him ????
The West was warned umpteen times there were verb agreements going back to the cold war.
Just listen please to American analysts Jeffrey Sachs and Prof. John Mearsheimer and retired Col Douglas MacGregor.
Clown Zelensky was elected on a platform of peace. Now he is unelected.
The Istanbul Peace Accord agreed by both parties in 2022 was blocked by NATO and the West.
The visit to Cuba of the warships basically gave the hint. Now Russia has split the West forces by the agreement with N Korea.
More moves to follow from this master chessplayer.

  11. The west started wars in the Middle East and all over the world with colonialism and imperialism and you wonder why revenge attacks happen on western soil, maybe don’t stick your nose in on other people countries by starting wars and all will be okay

  13. Why doesn’t the “military spiv” mention the bio labs in Ukraine ? Or the Minsk treaty 😂😂 they’re in full antic mode 😂

  14. I've listened to the full interview of Farage, he has a far more nuanced position than the disgraceful short clip you used, this is bullsh&t, it is basic lying in my opinion…

  15. Putin may have been planning his invasion of Ukraine for quite some time. However it cannot be denied that the expansion of NATO, in contravention of agreements, gave Putin reason, rightly or wrongly, to support Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. I firmly believe that Putin is a very nasty ‘piece of work p’.

  16. your tunnel vision niave narrative is shameful this is what is peddled in the usa china russia are the enemy , really how many wars has the usa created since 1945 yet none on usa soil ,get REAL

  17. Its all so stupid its like england is being run by the mob nothing normall nothing truthful its all lies tell the truth the west provoked Russia thats the truth the english want the foreigners to leave theres the truth

  18. The reason you're attacking him and the reform party is because Reform is right way to go for the people, they're FOR the people, the others are for control and money. UK has antaginised Russia and are lucky Putin is a level headed man.

  19. HOPEFULLY the UK will all vote reform and remove the corrupt war mongering governments that we've put up with for so long. The things that are coming to light now with regard to to their corruptions is mind boggling
