Slovakia detained a Czech conspiracy theorist for spreading disinformation. Slovak police arrested Pavel Zitko, unsuccessful presidential candidate in Czechia who has been on the run for spreading disinformation and “disturbing news.”

I am no believer of freedom of speech in Slovakia, but it is high time conspiracy theorists face arrest for disseminating socially harmful disinformation. I hope other EU countries follow suit.
