  1. How the hell are pharma companies failing to reach supply demands. Do they not like money anymore?

  2. What’s worse is I am on all of them!

I’m going to be in some condition by September!

  3. I’m on one of these, luckily my pharmacist has been able to find stock recently. In the past they had to source an unlicensed version from abroad and it was 3x the price!

  4. The EU need to step in on this. It’s an utter disgrace this is happening in Europe.

  5. Some of my mother’s parkinsons drugs went on short supply. My sister was easily able to get them on holiday in Portugal.

Basically we bay the average of the five lowest eu countries. So there is more money to be made in all of the other eu countries if they have demand for two countries but enough for one and one pays peanuts…

  6. Licensing is just rent scam anyway. If the drugs are approved for use by the HPRA you’re good to go.

  7. Important thing to state for those who won’t read the article – they are selling products unlicensed in Ireland, with approval. The products must be approved in other countries – and most of the time it’s the exact same thing as it’s counterpart licensed in Ireland product, just made by a different manufacturer who wasn’t bothered to go through the hassle involved with the med being licensed in Ireland.
