1. This has to be the worst casualties of this war.

2. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to think of all the children who have disappeared to Russia and will never be rescued or heard from again.

4. Buildings can be rebuilt, but children are special. Why do we not hear more from anguished parents? Or are these taken en masse from institutions?

9. I’m utterly disgusted by the absolute certainty that, at some point in the non-distant future, more and more non straightforwardly pro-Putin politicians will start proposing a relaxing of relations with a country capable of kidnapping children – among other atrocities.

10. It is obvious that Russia does not care for the lives of innocent children. Sick twisted fucks.

11. Hopefully these kids can be reunited with living family members

12. These kids will only be brought home as part of a peace treaty between russia and ukraine, with ukraine being in a position of strenght while the treaty is discussed.

13. There but for the grace of God go we. I’m not remotely religious and yet, the loss is unspeakable. Hearts are with the children they rescued.
