I'm considering switching because it looks like it's cheaper than the other models. I'm with CSS if it's any help. I'm still quite young and don't often go to the doctor so I think I will save more than I do currently, I hope so at least. Those of you who already use it, how is it ? Are there some things you regret ?

We’re using telemed with Helsana. But only because there’s no real drawback. If anything we now can go directly to a specialist instead of getting the recommendation first from our “house doctor”.
And if we still wanna go to the house doctor we can do that too.
I am with Swica and use the Telmed model as well. But nowadays you can also use their app. Which is pretty good. You give all your symptoms and then you get feedback if you need to go to a general physician, specialist or call them to give more details. I am very pleased so far.
Negative: you have to call and ask for advice, before you go to the doctor. Positive: the advice can be very good, and they aren’t at all reluctant to authorize a doctor visit if you need one.
tl;dr: We’re happy with Swica Telmed.
I have a Multichoice from SWICA, I can use app or telmed or pharmacy. At the end, I call them, tell what’s happening, they ask where I want to go, finished. App helps with sending some pictures. All in all, I’m happy with that option. Never had any problems, it’s more like informing where I want to go. One time a real doctor called me back with some advices and told me to go to the doctor. Whelp.
I really like Telmed, that it reduces your health insurance is just an added bonus.
You call and get an immediate answer. It is a 24 hour service. So you or your kids get really sick at night or during a weekend you can get some advice, they can reassure you that you really might need to go to the emergency department ect.
I had an emergency at night once on a Saturday, they told me where to go and advised the hospital already that I was on my way and what it was about.
You really always have to call first unless it is an emergency, or the eye doctor or gynecologist. But that takes hardly any time.
Also takes less time than the Hausarzt Modell ( where you have to go to a GP first) if you need to see a specialist. You just call and they allow you to see a dermatologist or cardiologist directly. They might even make an appointment for you I think.
With CSS multimed is cheaper (or at least was cheaper last time I checked). You still have access to Telmed, but you need to register to a Hausarzt. And to be honest, Telmed is completely useless when you are in need.
