It’s not really shocking, and is about the only good news for progressives tonight as a whole, but AOC is popular in her *very, very Left leaning* House district in NY + positive MSM press fawning helps her even more basically in controlling the narrative (not complaining, given how Rightward the US as a whole shifted today in these primaries vs 2023, good to see the Left has some victory for once).

That might not disqualify a Republican running for POTUS, but when she’s eligible to run they’ll play that video on every news network and we all know how moderate Democrats and Independents feel about candidates doing weird stuff…

  7. Is it just me or is the entire squad just fucking shit up. They really think America will vote for a socialist faction there only going to make trump win that’s the reality bidens gonna die on stage and the democrats aren’t going to be fast enough to do anything about it. As a democrat I gota say the squad really feels like a bunch of mentally ill kids and it’s gonna cost them. Hope she just resigns along with Omar who’s father was basically THE African warload

  12. I’m not the biggest fan of AOC, but she has had a few bangers towards thenthe last year. She’s also grown into the role very well from the beginning of her political career. She is much better at making her point, and justifying why she believes something. She also doesn’t take crap from the people who have been seriously abusive online and in the media. She’s also made some amazing responses to criticism.

    She’s tough, smart, and she doesn’t take shit. I don’t really think she should run for president yet, but I definitely could see that in her future. she’s extremely smart, but she does lack some self-awareness at times

  14. There are things that bug me about her but I would vote for her over almost everyone else.
