  1. Shocker, hehe hehe…

For reals though. Can anyone tell me what offence someone actually committed?

(Bar Hogan, if memory serves, he’d flown in from Brussels and went to Kildare for his clubs and that amounted to a breach of the rules at the time).

I can remember my workplace literally had a golf outing that same weekend with food after, but there was like 20 people which wasn’t an issue.

Edit- longer article is now up and, well, yeah, I stand by it. They’d a meal with less than 50 and someone opened the partition a person’s width for a speech. The hypocrisy of folks demanding resignations from attendees for being at a covid compliant event and someone else opens a gap between two dining rooms, so you’ve to resign? That’s a bit rubbish in my eyes.

  2. Reasonable, they trial was a waste of resources in the first place. It was only held for PR reasons.

  3. “They are all responsible people who would not have gone to a dinner if they did not feel comfortable”.

FUCK THIS. Whatever about anything else, just to say this out loud is moronic.

I felt more than comfortable about driving inter county to talk to a dying relative through a fucking window. Still got turned back. No one gave a fuck about my invidious judgments.

    Just fuck this.

  4. lol Twitter is gonna go in a tailspin over this, they wanted them all up against the wall

but cast the first stone, he who has not broken any covid restrictions in the last 2 years. I know I broke a few here and there.

  5. Bank all these things for when they come knocking on your door looking for votes ,in the Dail yesterday about the wages of the Hse heads

  6. Wonder if they are going to in-force any of the covid fines they gave to people over lock downs.

That will cause a lot of people to turn sour if they do.

Though they do say those in power make the rules, so they can find ever more fun ways to break the rules.

  7. judges are appointed by politicians. the courts are 100% political

don’t forget that Seamus Wolfe was appointed to the highest court in the country without any previous experience as a judge, while he was working for FG as their attorney general.

no coincidence that the judge said Wolfe’s evidence was “most impressive”

  8. What a waste of time. Court hearing lists are backed up nearly a year, with stuff that actually matters like domestic violence cases and these cunts get to waste 3 full days of court time.

A shambles from start to finish. Once it became apparent no CCTV/photos were available DPP should never have proceeded.

  9. A fucking disgrace .

Fahy siding with power yet again .

They have her where they want her .

Alcohol is the worst of the lot .

  10. So anyone that was fined or arrested for breaches of the lockdown should take a case against the state now.
I bet Big Phil is onto his lawyers already!!
