On our trip around Peru we lived on the stuff. The only “high” we got was driving up to Cusco 😁

I know nothing about this. Does coca leaf tea have the same effects as cocaine? Or in what way is it an alternative? Because I would put cocaine and green tea on opposite ends of the scale for how they effect you
No point in saying so, but even though coca leaf is part of what makes cocaine those are very different things.
So what happens with coca leaf tea? Is it a stimulant similar to coffee??
My wife’s father is chewing it everyday, here in the north of Argentina. In general it’s chewed here.
Is this implying that those addicted to cocaine can have a cup of tea and be satisfied rather than doing a line? I’m not sure I understand what this is telling me
