  1. This new Dr. is not great, but he’s not getting much help from the writers either. That “space babies” episode… there’s no explaining that away. That actually happened.

  2. Well personally I’m loving this season. It’s refreshing

  3. I liked it he’s definitely got the stuff even though two of them of the eight episodes were kinda bad(although like a quarter of every doctor who season is kinda like that)but the long movie/netflix episodes limit for a show structured around being episodic was a mistake I hope they fix in the future definitely need at least 10-13 episodes so the standalones and overarching plot have room.

  4. I’ve really enjoyed this season and I like the new Doctor. My only complaint is with the finale – it felt underwhelming.

  5. Just goes to show you the opinions of Redditors don’t reflect reality once again.

  6. I’ve enjoyed all the new Who’s, but I also take it for what it is. I thought the Your Cosmic Joyride marketing campaign for it felt fresh and fun for younger folks too. DW needed a bit of a ‘refresher’ to bring new/younger folks into the mix, and I think it tonally feels right for that this series.

I dunno, I think it’s a fun, optimistic series that ultimately focuses on the right things. Not sure what else people are feeling it needs to be (or why)…
